ABSTRACT
Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign for the diffusion of improvements resulting from brain studies. This proposal aimed to raise awareness of the brain's importance in Santa Maria's school students. The students were inquired about the brain's basic knowledge; exchanges of experiences occurred and brain hats were made, promoting the awakening of curiosity about neuroscience. The target audience reached was five teachers and more than sixty students; the evaluation performed revealed positive feedback from the school which was satisfied with the objectives and aimed at new editions.
