ABSTRACT
Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral disease caused by one of four dengue virus serotypes. The clinical symptoms caused by this infection are varied. In this context, neurological manifestations affect almost one of every five dengue virus-infected patients. When we specifically analyze movement disorders, it is believed that more than 10% of the patients with dengue encephalitis develop abnormal movements. Herein, we would like to discuss the movement disorders associated with dengue.
