ABSTRACT
Cervical radiculopathy is characterized by neurological dysfunction caused by compression and inflammation of the spinal nerves or nerve roots of the cervical spine. The incidence rate was 83.2/100,000 people, which peaked in the fifth decade. Different segments and the severity of neurological dysfunction can cause various symptoms of cervical radiculopathy. These symptoms can include neck and arm pain on one side, numbness, weakness, or changes in reflexes. Conservative or surgical treatments may improve neurological function and reduce pain. Herein, we would like to discuss current systematic reviews of the management of cervical radiculopathy.
Keywords: Cervical radiculopathy; functional disability; neck pain; nerve root compression
